Job: Site Support Supervisor

Contract: Permanent – full-time

Location: Environmental Hub, Cledford, Middlewich, CW10 0JR

Hours: 37 hours per week; start and finish times may vary

Salary: Grade 6: £27,711 to £30,060 per annum FTE 

Ansa Environmental Services Ltd is a growing company which is wholly owned by Cheshire East Council. We operate out of a purpose-built facility in Middlewich and are looking to recruit a Site Support Supervisor to join our team.

The role of Site Support Supervisor is required to assist the Senior Site Support Officer in providing all support services for the Environmental Hub.

As part of the team, you will be expected to:

  • Ensure that health and safety standards are maintained throughout the site
  • Undertake compliance checks across the site, including a number of inspections throughout the day and general monitoring of storage, cleanliness and housekeeping
  • Deliver site inductions
  • Monitor contractors, visitors and deliveries on site
  • Supervise a team of site support personnel.

In order to apply for the role, applicants should have:

  • Competence in operating and maintaining plant and equipment
  • Undertaking of maintenance, including joinery, plumbing and decorating
  • Effective communication skills
  • Understanding of interconnected systems
  • A flexible and can-do attitude
  • A full UK driving licence
  • Capabilities to supervise a team.
