Job: Parks Projects Officer
Hours of work: 37 hours per week Monday to Friday
Work base: Ansa Environmental Hub, Cledford Lane, Middlewich
Salary: Grade 8: £34,314 - £37,938
Do you have a passion for developing and enhancing green spaces and improving the facilities for the local community? Ansa are currently looking for an enthusiastic and skilled Parks Technical and Projects Officer to deliver innovative and effective improvements to parks and open spaces across Cheshire East.
The role will play a pivotal part in delivering a programme of works to improve and enhance the parks, play areas, and open spaces throughout Cheshire East providing local communities with better access to high quality open space.
The successful applicant will have the following key responsibilities:
- Develop, coordinate and deliver improvement projects across parks and open spaces
- Manage budgets, procurements and contracts to deliver project in line with key targets
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation including the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations
- Engagement with key stakeholders throughout the project
- Monitor and report on project progress and key outcomes
- We are looking for applicants with a strong background in project management with a keen interest in the improvement of green spaces.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Proven experience of delivering successful projects – ideally in parks and open spaces
- Excellent communication skills and experience in managing a wide range of stakeholders
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
- A proactive approach to problem solving and decision making
- A full UK driving licence.
