Job: Parks Inspection and Delivery Operative

Base location: Macclesfield
Hours: 37 hours per week
Salary: Grade 6 (£27,711 - £30,060)
Due to internal promotion, we have a full-time opportunity for a Parks Inspection and Delivery Operative to work within our Parks Delivery Team based in Macclesfield.
The role is within a small construction team that undertakes work including, but not limited to, play area installation and maintenance, hard landscaping and footpath construction.
The successful candidate will be joining a commercial unit which generates internal and external income; therefore, alongside commercial awareness the successful applicant will need to possess effective interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.
The post holder will be required to work as part of a team and on an individual basis to carry out a wide range of tasks to a high quality and within the timescales agreed with our clients.
The role requires the post holder to safely drive and operate a wide range of machinery and plant so a driving licence is required, and whilst not essential a category C licence would be advantageous. An understanding of relevant health and safety issues is essential, and all applicants should be able to demonstrate an awareness of key requirements when working on a construction site.
