Job: HR Business Partner

Contract: Maternity Cover, 11 month fixed term from January 2025 with potential to extend

Salary: Grade 9 - (£37,938- £40,476)

Hours: Monday to Friday (37 hours)

Base: Middlewich with some travel across sites

We are currently seeking an experienced HR professional to join our values-led, growing environmental operations business. You will be based at our Environmental Hub in Middlewich with some travel to our other sites in Cheshire, Derbyshire and Staffordshire acting as a trusted adviser on all HR matters to our major client groups.

This is a generalist role involving a mix of employee relations, policy creation, training, coaching managers, analysing and reporting on HR metrics, contributing to succession planning & supporting change projects.

Key to success in this role will be your pro-activity in driving change, working closely with our management team and workforce including Trade Union Rrepresentatives and bringing added value with your commercial skills. 

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • Significant operational HR experience   
  • Demonstrable commercial acumen and ability to drive change 
  • Strong employment law knowledge (practical and theory)
  • Proven experience of influencing and challenging stakeholders 
  • CIPD Level 5 Diploma Human Resource Management
  • Ability to build strong relationships with managers at all levels of the business
