Job: Business Support Administrator

Salary: Grade 4 (£24,790 - £25,183, £12.85 - £13.05 per hour)  

Location: Environmental Hub, Cledford Lane, Middlewich, CW10 0JR

Hours of work:  37 Hours per week, Mon-Fri, usual hours 8.30am - 4.30pm, some flexibility required / available

Type of contract:  Permanent.

A vacancy has arisen for a Business Support Administrator to work within our friendly and professional team based in Middlewich, Cheshire.

Our team provides a varied and quality administration service to frontline teams responsible for waste collection, treatment and disposal, street cleansing, parks, grounds maintenance and fleet.

We are looking for a detail-oriented candidate to join the team who is committed to providing an excellent administration service, has a can-do attitude, and can help us to achieve our objectives by:

  • Working within a team to provide a high standard of administrative business support and exceptional customer service
  • Organising, prioritising, and managing own workload to meet customer demand Showing initiative and providing solutions to overcome obstacles
  • Manage data entry tasks accurately and promptly, maintaining up-to-date records.

The successful candidate will possess:

  • GCSEs at Grade 4 (C) or above (or equivalent) which must include Maths and English
  • Strong computer skills with the ability to learn new software quickly
  • Experience using Microsoft Office including Excel and web-based applications
  • Effective communication skills, both oral and written
  • Previous experience within a clerical or administrative role.
