Job: Passenger Assistants x 2 (term-time only)
Contract: 1x Permanent and 1x 6 month Fixed-term Contract
Hours: 25 Hours, Monday to Friday, between 7am and 9:30am and 2pm and 4.30pm.
Salary: £12.45 - £12.65 per hour
Ansa’s Transport department are recruiting Passenger Assistants who are looking for a new challenge and enjoy helping people. Work with us on our home-to-school passenger transport services and help to make a positive difference to people's lives. We value all our employees and training will be given to help you provide a safe, efficient and effective passenger transport service whilst looking after the needs of all passengers whilst in your care.
Working on our home to school transport, you will be friendly and able to communicate well with staff and customers while you provide appropriate assistance to passengers who may have learning, mobility, emotional and/or behavioural difficulties. Experience of working with passengers who have disabilities is desirable but you will be given full training. You will also assist the driver by route finding and giving directions when necessary.
Although primarily based in Middlewich, you must be prepared to work flexibly as occasionally you may be required to work from other sites within Cheshire East. Ansa Transport currently has two vehicles operating in Macclesfield.
