Salary – Circa £32-38K per annum

Ansa Environmental Services is currently seeking a Qualified Commercial Transport Manager to join their office in Middlewich.

This is an exciting role for someone looking to join a successful business that is looking to expand its portfolio. 

This role will ensure the smooth operation of the whole fleet team including the commercial HGV workshop and will need to be customer focussed in order to meet and exceed customer expectations and to maximise workshop productivity and ensure KPI’s are met. 

Ansa operates within the environmental services industry and requires an individual with working knowledge of both workshop and contract management. Monitoring service providers and meeting their contractual agreements within a set time frame and to budget.

The ideal candidate must therefore have experience of working in a similar role in a commercial environment managing a HGV workshop and possess full working knowledge of Health and Safety legislation and requirements in addition to knowledge of both practical skill requirements and workshop best practice. 

A key part of your job involves developing the business relationships between service providers and supply chain and the financial management of contracts. Measure supply chain service level agreements; enhance continuous development and customer satisfaction within this environment. Manage and develop the contractual responsibilities and transport activities for the specified customer. 

The chosen candidate will have an understanding of all regulatory compliance relating to the ownership of an Operator’s Licence, be a road haulage management CPC holder. Demonstrable communication, organisational, analytical and people management skills are fundamental to this role.
